The Watermill Center, a unique laboratory for the arts and humanities, tapped ARA to work closely with the nonprofit in their Chelsea and Southampton NY flagship spaces, to engage celebrity spheres of influence, secure major gifts, on brand sponsorships, lucrative partnerships, and promotional media coverage. ARA’s work culminated in over 75 writers in attendance to consecutive annual galas, exceeding multi-million dollar funding goals to support artist-in-residency programs. ARA enriched partnerships with the neighboring indigenous Shinnecock Community + secured key blue chip artworks including three works by Keith Haring for auction. The campaign culminated in a multi-billion media impression campaign and a funded annual program for the following year, funding the operating costs for annual artists-in-residence from across the globe.
