The Vienna Tourist Board tapped Ava to create a modern PR Campaign for the City of Vienna, strategically engaging new American audiences. ARA wove Vienna Tourist Board into key events in New York, San Francisco, and Miami, over a span of the last five years, securing a multi billion impression regional and National American PR Campaign. Vienna, now lauded the most livable city in the world by the Mercer Study and the Economist's Intelligent Life Unit, serves as a case study of how effective a destination city can be at supporting its resident's quality of life, while reducing its environmental footprint, and increasing tourism and its revenue. Through PR it was elevated to Americans as a modern, livable, liberal city. Leading curated press trips and experiences for American writers resulted in hundreds of pieces of U.S. media coverage and seasonal Art Basel Miami Beach influencer engagement. In 2020 when international tourism came to a grinding halt, ARA created promotions of digital campaigns and highlighted social distancing news in fresh and creative ways to keep Vienna in the minds of travel hungry Americans. ARA curated talent from the city, with a close eye on emerging LGBQT and African Austrian creators, highlighting their work amidst the pandemic.
